By BARTON PERKINS | Staff Writer. PELHAM –Pelham City Schools officially kicked off its 10th annual Red Ribbon week on Monday, Oct. 23. Red Ribbon Week, the annual celebration encouraging young people to stay away from drugs, will be held Oct. 23 to Oct. 29 in Parker and La Paz County.

Red Ribbon Week is an important event in schools across the country, aimed at promoting drug prevention and encouraging a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. In order to engage students and raise awareness about the cause, many schools organize various activities, including door-decorating contests.
